大阪・中之島美術館のMUSEUM SHOPにて開催された展示。「AMBIVALENT」と名付けられた今回の展示は、天然の石材である「秋保石」(あきういし)とAtelier  maticの作り出す人工的な表面模様の対比をひとつのテーマとした。

An exhibition held at MUSEUMSHOP, Nakanoshima Art Museum, Osaka. The exhibition, entitled “AMBIVALENT,” focused on the contrast between the natural stone “Akiu-ishi” and the artificial surface patterns created by Atelier matic.

展示の会場となるMUSEUM SHOPは、美術館の展示替え期間を利用して、その期間店舗を１組の作家がジャックすると言うもの。店内全てを使用した不定期に行われる企画である。

MUSEUMSHOP, the venue for the exhibition, will be used during the museum’s exhibition change period, during which time the store will be hijacked by a group of artists. The entire store will be used for this irregular project.
