東京・表参道のflower shop VOICEでの展示。花屋でありながらギャラリースペースを設けており精力的に作家さんの個展などを開催している。MINE OREという一輪挿しシリーズもVOICEでお披露目できる機会をいただいた。

Exhibition at flower shop VOICE in Omotesando, Tokyo. We were given the opportunity to showcase the “MINE ORE” single-flower vase series at VOICE.

ひとつひとつを固めた後に、削り出して形状を決めていく、同じものは制作できない一点物で、選ぶ楽しさ集める楽しさも魅力の一つ。剪定枝や植物の実なども入れ込んだり植物との親和性も深めて制作を行った。

After solidifying each piece, the shape is decided by carving it out. The artist also included pruned branches and fruits of plants to deepen the affinity with plants in his work.

翌年となる2021年は透明の一輪挿しシリーズ、「Fonte」を発表。色付きの透明で形状を作り、こちらもMINE ORE同様一点一点形状が異なる唯一無二の作品。きれいな透明感の物体というより、少しくすんだような透明感にとどめ、空間に馴染むようなものを目指した。

In 2021, the following year, he presented “Fonte,” a series of transparent vases for single flowers. The shape is made of colored transparency, and like MINE ORE, each piece is a unique work of art with a different shape. Rather than a beautiful transparent object, the transparency of the vase is a bit dull, and the aim is to make the vase fit in with the space.
