2017年にGALLERY MUVEILにて行われた展示は、アクリル作品が中心だったが、２回目となる今回は、アクリルに加えて、大理石の作品も発表した。二つの素材の組み合わせやハレーション。以前から興味のあった石という素材の可能性を追求した。大理石は普段ビルや駅舎などでも多くみられるが、その大部分はタイルとして貼られて表面しか見ることができない。更にマーブル調という言葉があるように模した素材も多く、大理石を普段目にする機会は多いが、素材感を感じることは少ないと感じていた。もっと石の力強さを表現したいと思い、あまり加工されていない無垢のままの岩肌を見せたり、質量を感じられたり、大理石の重さや温度感、その表情を前面に出していく展示を行った。

In order to express the strength of the stone more, the exhibition was designed to show the solid rock surface without much processing, to give a sense of mass, and to bring the weight and temperature of the marble and its expression to the foreground.

作品の映える白い空間に、さらに白いカウンター、壁面に棚を設置。大理石トップのディスプレイスタンドや、鉛(なまり)で制作した角柱の飾り台など展示方法にもこだわりを持った。
