soil nihonbashi, the newly opened hotel in Nihonbashi. We were responsible for creating the room keys and glasses for its guest rooms.

カードキーなどの電子キーではなく、シリンダー錠を採用するホテル。とてもいいと思います。邪魔だと思ってしまわないか心配でしたが、オープン後にレセプションの方に話を伺うと、鍵を宿泊者にお渡しする際に喜ばれる方もたくさんいらっしゃいますとお聞きして嬉しくなりました。

Hotels that use cylinder locks instead of electronic keys like card keys. I think it’s a great idea. I was worried guests might find them inconvenient, but after opening, I spoke with the reception staff and was delighted to hear that many guests actually appreciate receiving a physical key.

The toothbrush holder in the washroom is a custom-made type that uses a glass cup—different from the glasses we usually produce—which was provided and installed.
